Ravi Patel

Ravi is a medical student in the Feinberg Class of 2026. He grew up in Carol Stream, IL and attended the University of Michigan where he studied Public Health Sciences and Biology. At UMich, Ravi served on the board of Heal-Move-Shift, a nonprofit organization that delivered wellness and drug-education seminars to children in Southeast Michigan. He also participated in research projects aimed at better understanding the effects of obesity on the immune system. After graduation, Ravi took a gap year to serve as an internal consultant at Duly Health and Care. He worked alongside the health administration team to improve quality of care, telehealth access, and scheduling. Ravi looks forward to learning more about the healthcare system and working on projects that improve community health through Second Opinions. Outside of medicine and public health, Ravi enjoys playing basketball, beach volleyball, and trying new restaurants in Chicago.
