Iris Bai

Iris is a medical student in the Feinberg Class of 2026 and is originally from Fremont, California. She attended UCLA, where she received a BS in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology with a Specialization in Computing. During undergrad, Iris volunteered with various community organizations and became passionate about improving care for underserved populations. After graduation, she spent a year as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Stanford School of Medicine, where she worked to increase the efficacy of outreach and recruitment of study participants. Through Second Opinions, she hopes to make a greater impact on community health and learn more about how healthcare is delivered. Outside of school, Iris likes to travel, paint, and bake.
