Anjali Patel

Anjali is a medical student in the Feinberg Class of 2026. She was born and raised in Schaumburg, IL before attending Case Western Reserve University where she received a B.S. in Management, majoring in Finance and minoring in Spanish and Chemistry. As an undergraduate, Anjali was actively involved in the Cleveland community, volunteering for and serving on the board of several nonprofit organizations. These experiences sparked her interest in community-led social change and led her to work for the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics during her gap year. At IAFCC her work focused on expanding behavioral healthcare services for uninsured individuals across the state. In this role, Anjali had the opportunity to collaborated with Second Opinions on a project that ultimately led to an increase in funding for free clinics in Illinois! She looks forward to being a part of the Second Opinions team and continuing to make a positive impact in the non-profit sector.
