Lauren Yoo

Lauren is a medical student in the Feinberg Class of 2024. She attended Northwestern University, earning a BA in Neuroscience and minors in Business and Global Health. During college, Lauren began her work in non-profit consulting through a project that aimed to increase the revenue for a local therapy center. This and her experience studying the public health system in South Africa sparked her interest in studying and improving health systems. Before medical school, Lauren worked for Guidehouse Consulting (formerly Navigant) in the Life Sciences sector. There, she conducted qualitative and quantitative research to provide opportunity, pricing, market, and forecast-based recommendations to international pharmaceutical and biomedical device companies. In her free time, Lauren makes music and enjoys basketball and kickboxing.
